Ongoing Accessibility Care Plan
Make your site accessible, one month at a time
In month one we get to know your site and start on your most critical barriers. After that, your monthly hours go to fixing issues one by one, at a pace your budget can handle.

Is this for you?

A full remediation isn’t in the budget right now
Spread the work across months instead of paying for it all at once.
Your site keeps changing
New pages, products and plugin updates can bring new barriers. We catch and fix them as they show up.
You want a record of the work
Every month adds to your Accessibility Effort Record, so you can show what was found and what was fixed.
See the kind of fixes we make each month
Drag the slider to see six common barriers on one small page, and how each one looks once we fix it. Your monthly hours go to issues like these, most critical first.
Before: hard to read, hard to use, fails accessibility
After: clear for everyone
What changed
- Low contrast. Fixed: text darkened to meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
- No alt text. Fixed: the image has a description that screen readers read out.
- Vague link. Fixed: “Click here” now says where the link goes.
- Missing form label. Fixed: the email field has a visible label, not just placeholder text.
- No focus outline. Fixed: a clear outline shows which button you’re on.
- Icon button with no name. Fixed: the search button has a name screen readers announce.
What you get every month
Each month, every plan includes:
- An automatic scan of your site
- A person audits several key pages with a keyboard and a screen reader, different pages each month
- A badge date that shows our most recent scan
- Your plan’s dev hours spent on accessibility fixes, starting with the most critical
- Within your hours: alt text for your images, WebVTT (.vtt) captions for your videos, and clear image and video file names
- A new entry in your Accessibility Effort Record: what changed, what we found, what we fixed, by severity
- Spare time, though rare, spent on extra testing, rechecks after WordPress, plugin or theme updates, and small improvements beyond accessibility
- Updates to your accessibility statement when something changes
- A short monthly summary of what we found and fixed
What a year can look like
A year on the 3 hours a month plan: what changed, what we found by severity, what we fixed, and which key pages a person audited by hand.

- Month 12 scan
This is an illustration, not a real client. Scans flag likely issues, but a clean scan alone doesn’t mean a site meets WCAG. That’s why a person also audits several key pages each month, rotating through your site over the year so your important pages get human eyes, not just the scanner.
How it works
In month one we get to know your site and start on the biggest barriers. After that, your monthly hours keep working through the rest.
Step 1: Onboarding
In month one we do a more detailed hand audit of your key pages, publish your statement and badge, start your Accessibility Effort Record, and spend any time left on the biggest barriers.
Timing: Month 1
Step 2: Monthly check
We scan for new issues, recheck old ones, and audit several key pages by hand.
Timing: Each month
Step 3: Fix
Your plan’s hours go to the most serious issues first. Though it’s rare to have time left, any spare time goes to extra testing, rechecks and small improvements.
Timing: Each month
Step 4: Record
Everything we found and fixed goes in your Accessibility Effort Record.
Timing: Each month

Common questions
How is this different from Full Scan + Remediation?
Full Scan + Remediation tackles the whole site at once in one project. This plan works through it gradually, starting with the most critical blockers, then your monthly hours work through the rest.
What happens in the first month?
Your first month costs the same as the plan you pick. Part of it goes to onboarding: a more detailed hand audit of your key pages, your accessibility statement page, your badge and the start of your Accessibility Effort Record. The rest of your hours go to fixes, most critical first. On the 1-hour plan, most of month one goes to onboarding, and fixes pick up in month two.
What does the monthly hand audit cover?
Each month a person audits several key pages with a keyboard and a screen reader. We pick different pages each month, rotating through your site over the year so your important pages get human eyes, not just the scanner. The automatic scan covers the rest.
What happens to unused time?
Hours don’t carry over. Though it’s rare to have time left, any spare time goes to extra testing, rechecks after plugin or theme updates, and small improvements, and we note it in your Accessibility Effort Record.
What if I need more hours?
Extra hours are $100 each, and we estimate them before we start. You can also move to a bigger plan anytime, or ask us for a custom quote.
Does the badge mean my site is fully accessible?
No. The date shows our most recent scan. It shows ongoing effort. It’s not a legal finding.
Will this protect me from lawsuits?
We can’t promise any legal outcome. What we can give you is real fixes and a dated record of the work. We audit and fix against WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard most often used for ADA compliance on US websites. This helps you work toward ADA compliance and lower your legal risk. We don’t provide compliance services for European or other non-US laws, such as the European Accessibility Act or EN 301 549.
How is it billed, and can I cancel?
Monthly, or yearly with 2 months free, paid through Stripe. Cancel anytime: cancelling stops your next renewal, and your plan keeps running until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
On a yearly plan, we refund the full months you haven’t started yet. After you cancel, your badge stays up but keeps showing the date of your last scan, and monthly reports stop.

See plansWhat we check and fix each month
Every month we run an automatic scan, recheck open issues, and a person audits several key pages with a keyboard and a screen reader. We pick different pages each month, rotating through your site over the year. In month one, we also do a more detailed hand audit of your key pages.
Your plan’s hours go to the most serious issues first. That often includes writing alt text for your images, adding captions to your videos as WebVTT (.vtt) files and renaming image and video files to say what they show, which helps Google list them in image and video search. We take care of the formats and tools, so you don’t have to.
When we count pages, a page means each unique page layout on your site, plus key pages like checkout and forms, not every individual post.
Need more than one service?
Bundle and saveYour accessibility statement and badge
In your first month we write and publish an accessibility statement page for your site, and we update it when something changes. The badge sits on that page, and its date shows our most recent scan. It shows ongoing effort. It’s not a legal finding.
