Full Scan + Remediation

Fix the accessibility issues on your website, without a giant project

We take your accessibility report, fix what actually matters, and document every change, so more people can use your site and you have a clear, good-faith record of the work.

From $1,950 one-time project

Laptop on a stone desk in a modern office, showing a website with clear aqua focus outlines.

Is this for you?

If any of these sound familiar, this is the right place to start.

Tablet showing a web form with one field flagged in orange and the next one fixed in aqua, beside a braille display.
  • You have a report full of issues

You ran a scan and got a long list of errors and unfamiliar terms. You know something needs fixing, but not what comes first.

  • You are worried about legal letters

You’ve heard about accessibility demand letters and want a documented, good-faith effort in place before anyone asks.

  • Some visitors can’t use your site, and fewer can find it

Missing image descriptions, jumbled headings and hard-to-read text can hold you back in search. And the visitors who do find you leave when a menu or form won’t work for them.

See the difference a fix makes

Drag the slider to see six common barriers on one small page, and how each one looks once we fix it.

Before: hard to read, hard to use, fails accessibility

After: clear for everyone

What changed

  1. Low contrast. Fixed: text darkened to meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
  2. No alt text. Fixed: the image has a description that screen readers read out.
  3. Vague link. Fixed: “Click here” now says where the link goes.
  4. Missing form label. Fixed: the email field has a visible label, not just placeholder text.
  5. No focus outline. Fixed: a clear outline shows which button you’re on.
  6. Icon button with no name. Fixed: the search button has a name screen readers announce.

What you get

Every Full Scan + Remediation project includes the technical work below. We handle the details, so you don’t have to figure out alt text rules or caption files yourself.

  • Clear labels and helpful error messages on every form
  • Full keyboard navigation, visible focus outlines and readable color contrast
  • Alt text that describes your meaningful images in plain words, so people using screen readers get the same information
  • Captions for your videos, saved as WebVTT (.vtt) files, so everyone can follow along
  • Image and video files renamed to say what they show, which helps Google list them in image and video search
  • A before and after report, plus a good-faith Accessibility Effort Record that lists every fix with a date
  • An accessibility page written for you, with a badge on it showing the date of our most recent scan
  • Tested against all 50 WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria and hundreds of automated and manual checks, then fixed

Not included: a full redesign, new features, or fixes to third-party tools we can’t edit. Some issues live outside our reach, like a third-party plugin or booking widget. We email the developer about each one, so there’s a written record that it was reported. Ongoing fixes after the project are the Ongoing Accessibility Care Plan. We audit and fix against WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard most often used for ADA compliance on US websites. This helps you work toward ADA compliance and lower your legal risk, though no one can promise a legal outcome. We don’t provide compliance services for European or other non-US laws, such as the European Accessibility Act or EN 301 549. Common questions

Will this change how my site looks?

No major changes. The goal is to make your site easier to use while keeping your design.

Do I need to rebuild my site?

In most cases, no. Most issues come down to small, targeted changes.

Can my developer handle this instead?

Yes. Your report is yours to use. We can also give your developer clear direction or work alongside them.

Is this a one-time fix?

For most sites, yes. New pages and plugin updates can bring new issues, which is what the Ongoing Accessibility Care Plan is for.

Will this stop me from getting a legal letter?

No one can honestly promise that. What we do is fix the real barriers and give you a dated Accessibility Effort Record of a good-faith effort. We audit and fix against WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard most often used for ADA compliance on US websites. This helps you work toward ADA compliance and lower your legal risk. We don’t provide compliance services for European or other non-US laws, such as the European Accessibility Act or EN 301 549.

Do I need to write alt text or make caption files myself?

No, we handle it. We write the alt text, create your video caption files and give your image and video files clear names. You don’t need to learn the formats or the tools.

Should I choose Full Scan + Remediation or the Ongoing Accessibility Care Plan?

Screen readers, keyboards and readable text

Anyone should be able to read, navigate and complete your pages, whether they use a screen reader, a keyboard or a magnifier. We give each page a clear structure, with one main heading, headings in order, landmarks and links that say where they go. We check every text style against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast and keep your brand colors wherever we can. Every menu, button and form works without a mouse, so people can finish a purchase or contact form on the first try.

  • Headings and landmarks that match the layout
  • Clear names for every button and link
  • A skip link past the menu
  • Logical tab order and a visible focus outline
  • Labels, hints and errors that screen readers announce
  • No keyboard traps in menus, pop-ups or sliders

Your accessibility page and badge

We write and publish an accessibility page for your site. It says which standard you aim to meet, what’s been tested and how visitors can report a barrier. The badge sits on that page and shows visitors the date of our most recent scan. It’s not a legal finding.

Your record of good-faith effort

Every fix goes into your dated Accessibility Effort Record. Both plans include an accessibility page and badge. The Complete plan includes 12 monthly follow-up scans, a full year of Ongoing Accessibility Monitoring included, so your badge can show a recent scan date all year. Together, the record, page and badge show visitors, and anyone who asks, that your business is actively working to be inclusive.
